When you need drone footage, the stakes are… high.
Drones aren’t hard to come by nowadays, and honestly? They’re not that hard to operate. You can easily find a drone hobbyist to capture shots for you in exchange for a case of beer. (Ahh, Canada.) And listen. If the footage you need is worth that kind of trade, then take the deal. But just make sure before the flight that you decide what happens if the person you “hire” ends up breaking a Transport Canada regulation or causing a plane crash or a glitch in the Matrix or something, so you know how you would go about splitting the hefty fine.
If, however, you’re looking for a higher level of professionalism, choose a company that’s put in the work to obtain the proper certifications and clearance, so you pay your bill, get your footage, and everybody’s happy (including the government). Plus, this way, you can claim the expense. Good luck getting that beer receipt past your accountant.
For those with higher standards, there’s FlyPress.
What you need is drone footage. What you don’t need is the hassle of dealing with red-tape and permits and all that bland legal stuff. We have the equipment, experience, and certifications necessary to get the footage you need without a single headache on your end. We’ve been in business for years, and as much as we’ve tried to lower our level of service to fit smaller budgets, we just can’t help but go the extra mile. We take our work very seriously. But it is worth mentioning that we don’t take ourselves seriously at all, and, for a bunch of pilots, we’re very down to earth.
